Volunteers are a vital part of every nonprofit organization, and People For Pets is no exception. While we do have 6 paid staff members who help operate the shelter daily, our volunteers continue to play an incredibly important role in helping us care for the animals and keep the shelter running smoothly. From daily dog and cat chores, walking and socializing dogs, transports, TNR efforts, cleaning, and shelter maintenance, there are always ways to help make a difference.

Whether you can volunteer once a week or more regularly, every hour donated helps improve the lives of the animals in our care. We are always grateful for compassionate people willing to lend a hand and support our mission.
